4hotshoez
After putting a house plan, I noticed that I added one inch too much in the middle of two complex parts of the floor plan. The only way I know change dimensions of a wall in to change the dim line and keep going around the plan until everything is adjusted. It would be a painful process to go around the plan and adjust all the dimensions, when they are all correct, just to change the middle section by one inch. In Acad, you can draw a stretching window and drag all into place. How do I do this in Chief?
rlackore
No stretching in Chief. Select all the objects on one half of the plan and move them 1 inch. Adjust everything as necessary.

4hotshoez
I was able to select all the walls that I wanted to move and then change the dimension that was wrong and everything selected move and the wrong wall "stretched" to the right size. I would imagine it to be more difficult to do with more stuff on the plan.
lbuttery
as Jon stated use the "edit area" tool with the all floors option check the plan after for issues - not 100% on getting "everything" right but I have used it to expand a plan by 2' in the middle minor issues - mainly with roof - to cleanup after Lew
