schrlmbr
When placing a post in my plan, the only part that comes up is the post footing. The post does not show at all, although defaults indicate a 6x6 should be placed. Tried this in 2 previous plans and the post placed perfectly. I did not attach thumbnails as they simply show the post footing, not the post. Display options are on for framing, post. KilgoreTrout
Are you placing the post under a beam? Does your plan have terrain? I think there are times when the program does not have enough room between the beam and the terrain (or floor in some cases) so that it won't create a post and will only create a footing. This is just a guess based on your statement about it not being a layer issue. You probably need to post (pun intended) the plan or contact tech if you need more support (pun also intended). DRAWZILLA
if it's blocked, posts won't show, un-block it, if so.
Kbird1
there was a bug ? at one point in earlier versions and for some dumb reason framing did not show them , but framing> floor does , Framing >Posts must be new in X6 perhaps it isn't working properly?
