lbuttery
Hmmm, you might need to contact CA's tech support on Monday they open 6 AM (-8 GMT) in general you need a video card with its own ram also needs to have OpenGL Lew
Barton_Brown
Bernie, Not sure what 'properly' means, but attached is the dbx from my Yoga 2 Pro which has the 4400 intel graphics.
Doug_Park
More than likely there is a driver issue. My first advice is to go to the laptop vendor and see if they have an updated driver. Often they do. The 4000 should work.
Kiwideziner
Bernie Just purchased a laptop on friday, it has an HD 4600 and a gt850M GPU, it will not do any type of render with the 4600. It comes up with a big note that says something about check the capabilities of the graphics card- cant remember the exact wording. with the 850m it flies. Doug_Park
Odd. My laptop with HD4600 graphics works just fine in X6, including shadows. Not quite as fast as the NVIDIA.
Kiwideziner
Doug I probably have not got it running properly yet, it may be a driver issue as you first mentioned. Although I am nor sure how much dedicated ram is available to the 4600. However I think I have now got it to use the nvidia card all the time so not really worried.
