Robboulton
I need to create a twin gable roof like a capital M. These two gables then intersect the main roof at 90 degrees. Is there a simple way to do this? Sorry if this is easy but I am quite new to Chief.
DavidJPotter
That depends upon the geometry of your floor plan as to whether or not this can be preset and then auto-built. Manually you just do it manually by direct manipulation. DJP
Robboulton
The specific file is attached now, if you look you'll see the rear roof is way too high. I though i could split it into a double apex roof to make it work better. Any help appreciated. Kbird1
I'd think about other Designs as I think looking at Eric's Pic, in heavy rainfall you will end up with a Waterfall in front of that Window , onto the Patio below. Either use a lower pitch like 25° from each side ( not 45°) , or maybe even a 25° Hip Roof with a 45°pitch to match the current house on current gable wall to reduce facade height or perhaps even a Shed Dormer style Roof at 15-18° tied into the existing Roof ?
