Using leaders in Layout to label camera views, I added the leaders & then resized the view to fit the layout & the leaders moved. Can you turn Leader Associate OFF? Joe_Carrick Posted June 19, 2017 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Alan, In Layout, Leaders are only relative to the Layout Box, not the underlying image. Leader lines only connect to objects in the Plan View and Section/Elevation Views. Since we can't add text to any other 3D Views, the only option is to create a CAD Detail from the 3D View and annotate that. But it's not dynamic anymore. Chopsaw Posted June 20, 2017 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Alan, Here is a unique solution that Kyle was working on a while back and sounds promising if you want to give it a try. I have not tried it yet but may be doing so soon as I have not transitioned to plan view notes totally and still see benefits of layout notes even when the advice is not to do it.
