MPDesign
A question about the visual accuracy of the 55 degree setting. Is this default what you would see in your "eye" point of view? if you were standing there? I have a client that wants to see the house from 100 feet out in front. Is the view generated with full camera and using a marker on the terrain in plan view visually accurate? Has anyone ever tested this? I have to assume it has. Thank you for your insite. KilgoreTrout
Seems pretty accurate to me. I just tried a test plan and drew some cad lines with an angle dimension to verify that they were close.
MPDesign
Yes I agree the plan view indication lines are correct. I am wondering if what you see on your screen is true to life (so to speak) maybe a moderator or someone at Chief will chime in.
Dennis_Gavin
To me it seems a lot narrower than what the eye sees. Probably because of peripheral vision.
Doug_Park
Perception of what is seen varies from person to person. I think the angle is close to what you would see assuming you had blinders on and could only see what was in the scene. Viewing 3D scenes in a 2D medium is not something that everyone does equally well so results will vary. You can adjust the field of view angle if needed for your customer.
