wolftide45
Is there a way to bring a dimension label in front of an intersecting dimension line? When you select the dimension line, it highlights and brings the label to the front (see attached pic). This is how I would like for it to look permanently. When it is deselected it stays behind the intersecting dimension line. Any ideas on how to remedy this and have the label in front?
Alaskan_Son
Select the dimensions you would like to be in front and Cut/Paste Hold Position (Control+X followed by Control+Alt+V).
wolftide45
I almost feel stupid, but that's perfect, thx
Ridge_Runner
I usually just grab the dimension text (one or the other) and just move it down the dimension string to get it clear. It won't be centered in the line but displays clear - far more important.
Joe_Carrick
Best solution for this is to have your Dimension Text Style set as Not Transparent by unchecking the "Transparent" checkbox in the Text Style dbx.
