lbuttery
Ok, I don't understand how to center this text vertically and horizontally ? I see the marker bars but when I select them it shoves the text all the way to the bottom or to the side ??? I'm sure there is a way to do this but ??? I'm using X6 Lew

lbuttery
Shane: that is the tool I am trying to use ??? I can't get the text box centered on the page ??? Lew
ShaneK
Also it is very finicky to get center line to show up, try at very bottom of your page and move mouse slowly.
lbuttery
The center line is showing on bottom/top or sides but when I click it moves the text box all the way over surely there has to be a way to do this without "fussing" Lew
ShaneK
Can you open new layout and get same results? Have you reboot computer? I have had that problem on a plan file but it was because I had rotated plan. Good luck
Alaskan_Son
Lew, layout pages are probably the single most difficult place to use the center objects tool. You just have to very slowly move your mouse across down at the bottom or top until you get a VERTICAL marker. Do the same thing on the side until you get a HORIZONTAL marker. When trying to center on a layout page those particular markers only show up when you're in just the right spot it seems.

Alaskan_Son
Great advice Michael, can you here an echo... It just seemed pretty clear to me that Lew wasn't understanding that he was using the wrong "center line" which is why I stressed the importance of using the lines that show up in the correct orientation (perpendicular to the side you're trying to center on).
