capitaldesigns
How do I set the temporary dimensions to locate the edge of the doors and windows rather than center to center ? Thanks, Mike
glennw
The temp dims use the current dim defaults. So open the current dim defaults dbx...Locate Objects panel...Openings...check Centers and uncheck Sides.
Chopsaw
Pictures are better but now you have both. Nice Glenn, I also read that backwards the first time.
capitaldesigns
Thanks Glenn and Chopsaw. I would have thought that the temporary dimensions defaults for door and windows would also been placed under temporary dimension defaults. I wonder why they did not. Chopsaw
Yes me too. That is the only reason you had to ask. Maybe X9
glennw
The quickest way to get to the current dimension defaults is to double click a dimension tool - as long as Edit Active Default on Double Click is checked in Preferences, which I think it is by default.
