SketchArchitect
Hi All, Anyone know why my layout PDF's are now 10 to 13 MB instead of under 1MB? Did X8 change something? thx Stu

SketchArchitect
This post has info https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/index.php?/topic/10727-merging-pdf-pages-into-a-layout/ Thank you - that link is referencing importing PDF elements INTO a layout... I'm not doing that; I'm talking about a pure CAx8 file saving as a PDF.

ShaneK
Once you print your pdf from CA, shrink size of file with pdf editor.
rlackore
I haven't noticed any difference in PDF file sizes with X8. Check your DPI settings in the Print View dbx. Maybe images or embedded PDFs within the Chief Plan file will increase the output PDF file size? I'm just guessing.
