multiple floors stairs problem

Recommended Posts

My house has three floors. I make stairs from one to three in the same position of each floor. I'd like to replace default stair railings  with glass panels. it's normal between first and second floor. But when I draw the panels between second and third, some base walls is appeared. How can I delete this terrible things.

Thanks. This is not what I want to be. But In your attached pictures, I can't see the walls I mentioned. Can you post your modified plan file?

The stair dialog does not allow any glass panels at all. In order to have that condition you turn off the railings in the stair specification dialog and then draw railing walls on top of the edge of  your stairs with the railing wall set to " Follow Stairs". When precisely done, that is the only solution.

I believe this was a bug that was fixed in the 18.3 update.  If you are not using the latest update, you should be.  If you are using 18.3 and you are still seeing problems, you should report this to technical support.

The original poster's problem was that she was getting unwanted wall pieces being generated underneath the "follow stair" railings in the open below rooms.  She was still using 18.1 and this was a bug that we fixed in 18.3.

I have no idea if this is the exact same problem that today's poster is running into.
