basilbabaa
How can I rearrange Layout Page Order? I want to be able to click and drag to rearrange the order of layout pages. Surely this is possible somehow, yes?
Griffin
All the page ordering controls are in the upper left corner of the screen when in Layout mode. They seem backward to me, but everything you need is right here. See image.
jbaehmer
There are an "exchange with Next page" and "exchange with previous page" icons so you can move things. This is the only way I am aware of. I don't believe you are able to "click and drag" in the project browser.
Alaskan_Son
I could be wrong, but the only way to do this that I know of is to use the Exchange With Previous Page and Exchange With Next Page tools. It would be nice if we could see the entire layout all at once and drag pages around like we can with some PDF editors but alas...not something we can do in Chief right now. Alaskan_Son
BTW, if you Label and Title your pages well enough so that you know which is which, you can make pretty quick work of reordering the pages with your project browser open. You can see the whole list of pages in the project browser. All you have to do is double click on the appropriate page to get you to the page and then use the Exchange tools to move the page around.
