Does anyone have a texture for a pantry door that is all glass? Something that just says pantry across frosted glass?
-
"The chimney cap does not show up on elevations though." Make sure that layer is turned "on" in your elevation view.
-
I also use polyline solids for my chimneys. Scott Hall has several videos about chimneys. https://www.youtube.com/user/dshall44/search?query=chimney Follow his youtube channel and if you have an issue with something, he most likely covered it. Great guy.

You may want to post on HomeTalk. This forum is for Chief Architect users. I'd try to help you out, but I'm not even sure what features your software has. I don't feel that I would be able to give you the help you need.
-
Thank you guys so much for all of your help. I really appreciate it.
-
That is wonderful! Thank you Gene!
-
Yes. Can this be achieved in Chief?

I'm not that computer savy at all. I can't for the life of me figure out how to work sketch up, nor do I have the time to learn it with the amount of workload I've been carrying. I need this column cut in half vertically. Is there an easy way to do this? I intend to use this on the exterior of a home. I'll attach a pic. column.plan

upload a few pics. I have some time to look it over.

Anyone in or around Murphysboro, IL that can do some multi family units? Pm me.
-
I figured. Oh, well! I've found another font I'm happy with. Thanks Michael.
-
Here's a dumb question, (once again, not very computer savy) can you convert it from .SHX to. TTF?
-
That's exactly what I'm looking for. I did find a download for the font last night, however if you look at the bottom of the support article William linked me to, it says " Unfortunately, it is not possible to use .shx fonts in Chief Architect, as these fonts are used exclusively by AutoCAD. " So I'm not sure I can use it. Also I don't even know how to import it. I know about as much about computers as a dog knows about flying... LOL ARCHITXT.SHX

Hey Glenn, thanks for taking the time to reply and look that up. I think I found what it's name is, but I can't find it anywhere. https://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fthecadtrainerguy.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2FArch_Fonts_Black1-300x150.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcadtrainerguy.com%2Fhow-i-work%2Fdownloads-for-autocad%2F&docid=T5cLCF-tI5c5pM&tbnid=hyftL6StgjVNkM%3A&vet=1&w=300&h=150&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim A friend of mine said he thinks it may be from ArchiCAD. I'm not sure. A builder I just started working with wants his plans to have the same font. I can't ask his previous draftsman because he passed away.

Anyone know where I can get this font? I'm in love with it. Can't find anything close to it in my fonts.
-
Wow. Never seen that one before. Can you post the plan? I'll take a look at it.
-
Line up for foundation walls and rebuild your roofs.
-
sending you a private message.
-
Post the plan please.

Joey, I too wish Chief would revamp the stairs tool. We'll just have to wait and see.

Also, check out this post. 4th from the bottom. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/10474-glass-in-custom-doors-appears-tinted-sometimes/

What exactly did you search for? I looked for a good hour and found nothing. Must have been calling it by the wrong name or something.
-
Thank you Greg!

That's a nice mantel Lol. I'm going to upload a few other items I commonly use as soon as I can find the time.
