I have found a glitch though. Mulled units show up in the window schedule regardless, unless I select (Show Single Label for Entire Unit," and choose to specify the label, and make the label blank. That's the only way to make them disappear from the schedule.
-
Aha. I didn't know that. Thanks!

OMG I am a doof! Thanks!

Two questions: Why would windows show up in a schedule when the labels are suppressed? Did this change recently? How does one go about renumbering manually? I have windows W04 and W23 next to each other which will drive people crazy!

Go for it!

Actually I only need the side profile.

It's been discussed here, but I am still stumped. Curt seemed to get the program to act the way it's designed, at least according the the training videos, but others on the thread have the same problem as I. I can't get the rafter tail to reduce outside the wall framing, without what I consider a workaround, using custom rafter tails. Even with the custom, it's still not really correct. Is this an ongoing issue with lots of people? Should I submit a ticket?

I don't think there's an automated method. Yours is painful but it works. I's like an option to choose gable ends to match the rafters and their tails.

I agree, which is why I'm not doing it. It was just an afterthought.

It's from a '20's house. I know I can build it in Chief, but since it's not part of the project there's no need. I just figured if someone had one, I'd stick it in. Didn't see anything likely in 3D warehouse either. No biggie though.

Does anyone happen to have a portico symbol similar to this? It's just to show in a side elevation. Not for the actual project but it would look good if I show it. If you happen to have something similar and would share I'd appreciate it.

Holy Caramba! All this time I've been using the integrated graphics! No wonder I've loathed using my laptop. You just changed by lifestyle. Thanks!
-
Larry, correct. The layout looks fine. I hadn't sent it there yet. Funny, I don't recall ever having this issue in previous versions.

I'm sure it's simple, and my poor old brain may have even done it, but why does the framing show through the roofing?
-
How would I determine that?

8 GB RAM

It's Nvidia GeForce GT 645M / 2GB DDR3. No idea if that's good.

Also when rotating in a camera view. This only happens on my laptop, and never occurred until I installed X6. I've played with some settings in preferences but haven't found a solution.
-
Thanks Larry. I do something similar but I guess I was hoping that things had been improved!

The box that says background color.
-
I tried it and got white. Is it possible that you changed your 3D background settings?
-
Aw, c'mon! Nobody does this?
-
That is so cool! I never know about this. But unfortunately is not possible with Chief, or have you found a remedy?
-
Ahh, Thanks.
