Michael, nice video, silency is better media for understanding.

Thanks Greg, glad if that helped. BTW this method fulfills almost all points mentioned in a wishlist for spiral stairs, i dont remmember, I think he was Scott that was wishing to get this fixed by ca. Please ca listen, you can make a lot of improvements based on the existing tools combined or fashioned in some way differently. Even though programming may be an other issue that i cant talk about. But there is always an other easier way to tackle a problem.

Very nice job, I like the molding. It looks the way it is mostly done in our area. Is it 3d molding or the freeze molding you used to make it? Any way well done. Thanks for sharing

Step by step procedure on how to do circular stair with smooth curved railing is explained in this video. You tube rejected18minute video as too long to apload and made it as 3parts. it is my first time time to get this message from You tube, though I didn't apload 18 min video before now. Any thanks for watching, hope sound is OK this time. Part1 https://youtu.be/P2_1pBlJqBY Part2 https://youtu.be/zReir2p1M0E Part3 https://youtu.be/-KJBJrqwZ84

Guy tried really hard, and found one way to skin the cat. If he changes the settings to check balusters and post to rail, and newels/post to 4, railing height to 44, and raise bottom rail to 12", here you are -very close to 4x4.......... Thank you very much, you said what I would say about it. I will try to correct the sound issue, sorry about it. Did you turn on the 'Z' layer Scott as Yusef "hinted" in his post when looking at his plan? he is using Ramps... Mick thanks, Scott failed to examine the plan before rushing to...... Thanks for clearing it to him.

Scott, first I did not get it, what you want. I didn't give care to the type of railing I used, the main target of the video is to show a method(formula) the railing is the "variable" apply any railing with any setting you want! If you have already a plan that contains or resembles your setting, then copy on to my plan. It seems you did not understand the hint! view "the all on set" you will see why it follows it. About the sound I will try improvents. I was making a video today and tried to fix it. Hope it is better now. Thanks.

David, thank you very much. Really glad, if that if that helped. Thanks

Thank you very much all for the kind words. I have learnt a lot from you guys all, specially David, I have learned a lot from him. He is so kind and encourager. The thread "The best of D.j.p" is unfogettble. Thank you.

Here is the video and the plan on how to create a deck railing post fasci mount. This method allows you to freely control the bottom height of railing regardless of floor levels, and allows to simply draw a railing with specified inset, offset and z control for deck and stair railings. The plan, hint:- don't miss viewing the z. DECK RAILING TECHNIQUE.plan

Blinds, An Other Useful Tool To Make Corner Window
yusuf-333 replied to yusuf-333's topic in Tips & Techniques
The attached pic shows what happens when you complete the house so the window is inside a room. Yusuf had simply put two walls together. BTW, the room outside the window was a tip I learned from John Jones of CA, thank to him for that. Here is the plan and the video at glance. The Jone's method was nice but lacking the glass and it was using slab as a glass, which you have to edit independently any time you adjust the window dimensions or copy it to an other wall some where else in the plan. That extra work is at least reduced here as you see, And the glass is part of the window. https://youtu.be/5CLdiz1GWIU corner window plan.plan -

Blinds, An Other Useful Tool To Make Corner Window
yusuf-333 replied to yusuf-333's topic in Tips & Techniques
Thanks Scott, I didn't check that thing, I will look at it, when no one responds and tells you the deficiencies, it is hard to detect errors. May be settings related to framing will correct it, not sure I will see it. Thanks -

Bryce, thank you very much. -
Graham, thanks for sharing your idea, I don't have x7 but I am sure it is better than perry's, the problem is, if Scott appreciates your method perry may get lost due to Scott's ungratefullness. Just kidding. I know Scott is using your method for real. Don't stop sharing your ideas here, you are the beneficiary in return and discover a lot of things that will help all of us in the stage two learning curve. Regarding your initial post trying to be funny was not too funny...just funny and every one at least smiled while reading. Just kidding again .. Any way We should not, certainly, punish other people in general because of an apparent lack of gratitude on the part of some. It could be that people are so busy they seem ungrateful — or they actually are thankless! But this is OK

A pass thru window using blinds as the glass material can be an other way to go with corner windows. Not perfect , but I thought it is useful for any one needs it. CORNER WINDOW USING BLINDS AS GLASS.zip

Graham, until you fear that fear it self, you are not going to effectively benefit the best of the talent inside you. Please keep up the nice work. I am trying to learn what you proposed.
-
Sure! It seems you don't want to understand, I can't say Scott is unable to understand, it seems Joe has taken the inset idea from my one. I mean Joe has understood it and will make it some more clear what i wanted to say by your English.

Take a look at this setting. One wall and two windows, one window represents the casing and the other is the window it self. First finish the whole plan by putting the window (not the casing) every place it should be including the wall framing done. Here is the magic just coppy the casing and paste on the windows using point to point move snapping center handle. BUCK WIND .plan

I was too buzzy and when I back tracked the topic, I realized Dennis has put it precisely to the point , nice job Dennis!Actually Dennis contributes a lot more. But Scott let me say, you over state your friends like me(Yusuf), Dennis etc. It seems me was the last person you were waiting for new ideas as every one can see it, and it didn't take time for you to conclude after I confirmed Dennis's method in my post....ha ha ha. just kidding. Try to wait for those in process to come up with clever solutions. Look at joey's method, wonderful!
-
Nice one joey, I like it! Keep up the excellent work.
-
Thanks guys for the help. Bill, you do not have the recessed stucco band, Yusuf, I am not sure what you are doing, Jeff's solution would not work .... Scott, here is my take with the plan attached. Scott plan x6 .plan

Scott, here is my take too, i am not sure it helps,
-
Sure, I know Scott is so kind, and considers me in his posts using simple words. Scott keep on like that, otherwise I am going to use one of the 99 languages in the thread you are seeking help.
