  2. It could be pretty well any image
  3. MASTER PROMPT — ARCHITECTURAL WATERCOLOR + INK PRESENTATION STYLE Transform this architectural rendering into a refined hand-rendered architectural watercolor illustration with expressive ink linework and visible construction sketch overlays. Maintain accurate architectural proportions and perspective while converting the image into a high-end conceptual presentation rendering often seen in architecture studios, design competitions, and sketchbook presentations. STYLE DIRECTION Loose watercolor and ink architectural rendering, mixed media presentation style, elegant architectural storyboard aesthetic, subtle hand-drawn imperfections, layered sketch construction lines, soft atmospheric washes, restrained realistic palette, artistic but still architecturally readable. LINEWORK Use thin overdrawn ink and pencil-style construction lines extending slightly beyond edges of the building. Include perspective guide lines, loose contour tracing, partial elevation strokes, and unfinished sketch extensions around rooflines, windows, fascia, landscape edges, and structural elements. The linework should feel exploratory and iterative rather than perfectly clean. WATERCOLOR CHARACTERISTICS Soft watercolor wash with pigment pooling and subtle paper bleed. Use layered transparent washes rather than opaque paint. Allow watercolor to fade naturally toward the edges of the composition. Include uneven saturation, dry-brush texture, light granulation, and soft edge bloom typical of cold-press watercolor paper. PAPER + BACKGROUND White or off-white textured watercolor paper background with negative-space fadeout around the perimeter. Let portions of landscaping, sky, and foreground dissolve into abstract watercolor edges. Avoid hard compositional borders. Preserve intentional empty paper space around the rendering. ARCHITECTURAL PRESENTATION STYLE Maintain realistic architectural lighting and material hierarchy while simplifying unnecessary detail. Emphasize massing, shadow, glazing, roof forms, timber accents, landscape composition, and depth. The rendering should feel like a premium conceptual presentation piece created by an architect or architectural illustrator. LANDSCAPE STYLE Loose and painterly landscaping with watercolor foliage masses, abstract shrubs, soft grass texture, and atmospheric tree forms. Avoid hyper-detailed botanical rendering. Trees and plants should partially dissolve into the paper edges. LIGHTING Warm natural daylight or soft golden-hour lighting with subtle shadow contrast. Preserve believable architectural depth while keeping the overall composition airy and artistic. TEXTURE + DETAIL Subtle ink hatching, watercolor granulation, paper tooth, pencil construction marks, and natural pigment variation should remain visible throughout the illustration. TEXTURE + DETAIL Subtle ink hatching, watercolor granulation, paper tooth texture, imperfect edge definition, selective detailing of focal points, and simplified secondary areas. Keep windows, timber, and entry details more refined while allowing background elements to remain looser. COMPOSITION Centered architectural hero shot presentation-board aesthetic, elegant white space, professional architectural illustration balance, no heavy vignette, no graphic design overlays, no typography unless added separately. AVOID Photorealism, cartoon rendering, anime style, heavy outlines, cel shading, overly saturated colors, digital painting look, oil painting texture, comic-book style, sharp CGI edges, excessive realism, cluttered backgrounds, ultra-detailed foliage, fantasy styling. 4. Love your prompt for this Artistic styling. My clients do too This is a ChatGPT 5.6 output ..
  5. Project Layout.pdf Love to help ..
  6. ChatGPT or A.I. in general, currently will not create a set of construction plans .. so that aspect is safe but maybe not for long. These are fantastic tools to explore and quickly have various ideas/visions brought to life.
  7. But you don't always get an immediate answer here and quite often need to post the plan Claude and NotebookLM both seem to know Chief Architect pretty well
  8. I use NotebookLM and it handles things like digesting information from any .pdf, website, etc. sources really well. ChatGPT has done a huge recent upgrade and I now use it in tandem with Claude and Gemini.
  9. People-Friendly Plans. Builder-Ready Details. Most plans are either easy for homeowners to understand or detailed enough for builders to price. The best plan sets do both. With 3D views, homeowners can clearly see the finished design before construction starts. With accurate, detailed quantity takeoffs, builders and suppliers can price the project faster and with more confidence. The result is a better design process, cleaner bids, fewer surprises, and a project that starts with everyone on the same page. see sample plan enclosed ... 16' x 24' One story addition Project Layout 7926.pdf
  10. Also using rtx3080 and have not had any problems ..
  11. select and copy facia height of the roof plane side that is correct and paste into other plane's dialog box
  12. Great. Copy, paste the link
  13. I don't like typing information that I can copy and paste. Maybe you took a speed typing course; I didn't the intention is always to share my thoughts/info with and possibly help others .. Seems like maybe a case of " framing hammer envy " or something going on here .. ( None of the above was A.I. generated .. )
  14. just a simple, old fashioned Google search
  15. Don't know how Chief is gonna compete with the many free and low cost alternatives that are now available. Below are just a few; even Revit now has a lower cost option to chief A.I .has leveled the playing field in terms of beautiful 3D renderings and accurate detailed material and labor take offs . Why spend big bucks if you no longer need to. Budget Consumer & DIY Tools Live Home 3D: An affordable home design application available for Mac, Windows, and iOS. It provides an intuitive drag-and-drop workflow for floor plans and 3D rendering at a fraction of the cost of professional software. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] RoomSketcher: A highly scannable, cloud-based blueprint and interior design tool. It features a tiered pricing model starting with a free basic version and inexpensive paid plans starting around $144 per year. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Planner 5D: An accessible, browser-based app tailored for beginners and light residential drafting. It uses AI-assisted layout generation and offers functional free tiers alongside low-cost premium unlocks. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Lower-Cost Professional & Drafting Tools SketchUp Pro: While the web version is free, the Pro tier costs around $399 per year. It is widely praised for its rapid 3D modeling, vast object library, and ease of learning, though creating formal 2D construction sets requires its companion app, LayOut. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Revit LT: A scaled-down version of Autodesk’s industry-standard BIM platform. It is considerably cheaper than Chief Architect’s professional suite and provides highly structured building data, making it an excellent bridge for professional career skills. [1, 2] ActCAD: A cost-effective 2D/3D CAD option built for the architecture, engineering, and construction fields. It utilizes a perpetual license model that avoids recurring monthly subscription fees. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  16. Excellent observation ... Chief needs to start fixing some of the more glaring basic issues .. Even the material list that is generated is pretty well worthless as is 3D with A.I. now being the time saving choice of many.
  17. See enclosed sample plan set ... Sample Project Layout as pdf ( 92 dpi ).pdf
  18. Love to discuss .. As a former design-builder and carpenter, I understand the importance of plans that are client friendly, ready for permits, and also include accurate detailed quantity take offs making it much easier for subs and suppliers to bid on a project.
