Yes, I felt like it was a half-hearted effort to fully recognize and stress the importance and impact of A.I. technology. Many people seem to think that it's main role is only beautiful, quick renderings. There was no mention of any of the other really important capabilities of A.I. technology as it relates to the design and building profession such as cost estimating, plan review, structural analysis, day to day job monitoring, contract preparation & review, marketing and advertising, etc. just to name a few ...

Very, very true. We are a ways off from that But AI technology will also check plans & designs for code compliance, plan consistency, structural issues and a multitude of other things, in addition to creating stunning renders in seconds.
