For a similar project several years ago, I researched fixtures for houseboats and motor-homes. I ended up placing a compact pedestal sink that was already in my library. Look for "Veil" pedestal sink #20710 in the Kohler catalog

My local building department wants a structural engineers stamp for a backyard Pergola. Landscape contractor will provide the drawing.

One more method - right click, choose 'transform/rotate'.

You don't need to attach them, just select both items and create an Architectural Block. You could also convert it to a symbol or just find one to download from 3D Warehouse.

Hope this helps - Eric

I updated to 595.79 a few weeks ago and after a lot of sluggishness and a crash, I went back to 591.74. Running smooth again.

Hi everyone, just to clear up any confusion — we are not looking for full architectural plans. We simply need someone to trace an existing 2D floor plan and convert it into a basic 3D model.
This is something we already complete in-house, and the process typically takes about one day to produce the type of model we’re looking for. Our goal is just to replicate that same workflow externally.
I believe we all understand what you are looking for, it's the compensation that strikes a nerve. I take offense at the value you place on the the services offered by the many talented pros on this forum and I'm sure I'm not alone. If not for that, you'd surely have plenty of takers.

Here's a selection from Duck Duck Go images...
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=southern+yellow+pine+texture&iar=images&t=ffab&atb=v417-1
There are also many sites online where you can download textures.
And don't forget about 'Material Builder' in x17 (3D/Material Builder). Although Southern Yellow Pine is not one of the species listed, you can probably come close using the tools available.

Keep your garage as a separate plan and then create a symbol for the garage which you can then place in the plan of the main house. This has worked well for me in the past.
-
Once the tile is placed in your plan, use the 'Define Material' tool to adjust the scale (in the 'Texture' tab).

Past versions of Chief included a option called 'Extend Terrain to Horizon' in the camera DBX. I finally came across a use for this function but now I can't find it in the camera DBX or anywhere else the help index tells me to look.

Google image search returned this...
Several sources listed.

'Hired Eric to do some 3-D renderings from some Chief Architect drawing files for a proposed triplex. Eric cleaned up all my drawings, adjusted floor heights and elevations, produced an interior furnishing design and added landscaping and hardscaping. I had a presentation in ten days and he turned around the entire project in less than a week. Final ray-tracing was outstanding. He worked with my design budget and delivered everything ahead of schedule. Highly recommend.'

Here''s a symbol I found on 3D Warehouse... https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/af5ddf24f638a55de1eaadd907cc5148/Cafe-Doors
The important thing to remember is if you classify it as a fixture when you import it into Chief, you can easily control the position of the doors when you place it in a doorway. If you classify it as a door then you will need to delete the casing and jamb so that you are left with just the door to position in a previously placed doorway.
