  1. I have done many as builts.. I take my laptop and a laser measure to site and input plan on the spot..I set the Temp dimensions to face of drywall..

doesn’t take too long.. only real critical dimensions are where cabinets might go..

i can draw up a 2000 sq ft two storey inside of an hour.

Have you considered doing this yourself?

  2. I was thinking there might be another solution but i am not very good at photoshop type manipulation, i have gimp for photo software...

What about cutting the pano and rearranging the cut piece to one side or the other so the view you want would be where it needs to be?

    Does this make sense?

I need some help showing how to do this..if anyone has some time.

I’m with Mark and feel like billboards are typically the way to go.  Here's another option in that regard.  The specifics are a little involved and I only have a couple minutes, but just make your own panoramic billboard backdrop.  Here are the key points:

    • You'll need to know the height to width ratio of your panoramic image.
    • Start with a cylinder, circular polyline solid, or whatever and create object to surround your building.
    • Do the math to make sure the circumference and height match the aspect ratio of your image.
    • Create a material using your panoramic image set to Stretch To Fit and use it to paint the panoramic billboard object you've created.
    • In order to make the image location on the object stable (in order to get a fully controllable orientation/rotation), you'll need to remove a sliver of your circular object so that there's a break in the perimeter.  In other words, its like a chain link and not like a wedding ring.  Just make that break super super small, put it at a location that will not likely be seen much, and it shouldn't hardly be noticeable.
    • You should be able to set the orientation by simply rotating the object.

Thanks Michael.. I will try it out.. your instructions make sense.. cheers.

If you still have it at .68 exposure ( same plan as PBR door issue ?)  try 1/2 that   I normally use .3 to .4 and then adjust brightness if needed.

I tried adding extra degrees to pano...in order to get the right view it duplicates some of the picture so then it is distorted..you would think adding say 90 degrees would rotate background 90 deg but it doesn't...I guess the only way is to rotate plan and make sure a levels are rotated exactly the same.

I had the sun set to light the pano instead of coming into room..this is why the pano was washed out...looks better now..but still distorted.

I used a single ceiling light , not an Added 3D Light (source) , in each room and turn down the Sun Lux and it was alot better once the Ceiling was white again.

Things like this have been an issue in PBR since the start as the light picks up a colour cast as it bounces around , it's also why  you don't want a really colorful background outside , say autumn leaves as that too will "colour " the light inside the room even.

You door frames are also high gloss meaning they have a reflection , unlike the Door itself which is a plain white looking at the materials....

Only thing is this is for a real estate 360 so i cant show lights that aren't there... they wanted to have a panoramic photo in background but it seems pbr doesnt really show this very well.

You've taken the ceiling out of the rooms on 4 so PBR is bouncing light off the Concrete slab I think hence the dark gray/black on the doors......, putting the Ceiling drywall back helps as does turning the Sun lux down too the 100-500 range ... also adding a single ceiling fixture in each room so you can control it's lux vs the Auto light helps too.

this is with sun follows camera too.......and a ceiling light behind the camera with Ceilings back on....

PS: the other contributing factor maybe that your Door Frames are a High Gloss White Lacquer by default. ( doors are just White )

mick, i added two lights in order to get rid of the black frames..doesnt make sense i would have to do this...there must be some issues with pbr.

  7. I am trying to do a pbr of a condo suite, i added another floor on top to get rid of the light bleed at ceilings and the door jambs turn black or the entire door in some cases.

I built this door symbol but why would pbr do this?  I have seen it on the first release of pbr on white surfaces turning black.

Here is the plan, any thoughts would be much appreciated.
