I tried uploading a pano to fb, it did not recognize it as a pano?

I just downloaded x9 last night and I am working a reno show this weekend.

We do design build renos.  The 360 viewer for showing clients is awesome...it looks so good that maybe raytrace is not needed and there is no requirement for the customer to do anything but click on link...here is one i did yesterday for interest.

Hi Dennis..you are right...too reflective..the actual floor has a low sheen...if its too reflective you loose what is going on as in my rendering...

Thanks for the library, not sure how you build a library but here is a carrara marble 24x24 texture i built by taking pictures of my tile and assembling so it can be used as a texture..

CA doesnet seem to have good current tile materials, i am always trying to find better ones, i would like to get some herringbone backsplash tile textures in carrara style and the brown tones to use in models like this one..anyone have these or know where to get them?

thanks Graham for taking a look...here is one i did yesterday with caustics on..i also made the ceiling emissive to brighten it up...

not sure if i need this with caustics?  My ray trace seems very washed out...

Hi chiefers..i am trying to raytrace this reno to get it close to the final renovation picture for promotional purposes.

Here is the file and the after pic...anyone have any suggestions or want to try i would be most thankful.

Ceiling is way too dark and i dont have a very good stainless steel texture it seems..

Did that still did not work, i have run into this many times before when invisible walls meet normal walls.

i have selected wall first then that tool, diamonds do show up but will not allow me to drag anywhere.

I select this tool but it wont allow me to pull back framing. what am i doing wrong?

I have a different ceiling height in kitchen(taller) and when i add a invisible wall to show rooms

the end of the wall has no drywall on it, when i change both rooms to same height this goes away.

Is there not a way to show this correctly with different ceiling heights?

I cant seem to find the rouge item, i have tried turning on all layers and still  cant find it.

When i select perspective full overview i get nothing but white space, probably because the model is so small in this view.

Anyways here is the model if someone can help that would be great, thanks in Advance.

I am trying to export a model to sketchfab and there is some rogue item in my model on the outskirts that i cant find that

makes my model too wide so when i export it as a .3ds file the actual model of the structure is very small.

Any thoughts on how to find this item?

yes i understand this but i would have to break it not in plan but in elevation to show the lower room in elevation.

A section should cut what is in section and show what is in elevation beyond, this has changed from x7?

I see what is happening, i change the clip line to show what it sees, but in x7 it showed everything that was visible to view, not anymore?

In otherwords i have a wall that is set back on the main floor with cabinets on the back wall and a wall on the second floor that is much closer, in order to see

the cabinets on the lower floor i must move clip line beyond this point in the lower floor but then it shows what is behind wall in upper wall, makes no sense.

I am new to x8, when i take a section and send to layout i get section lines beyond the wall that are not visible because wall is there.

Whats going on?

I have plot lines selected.

I need to send to printer tonight for meeting in the morning, hopefully someone can fill me in.

Thanks for your help david, i finally found the nvidia control panel, the laptop has some othe nvidia geoforce experience control panel... i think for gamers..

No settings to change here.

There doesnt seem to be a default, should i just disable intel driver?

How do you do this?  Will it make a difference?

HI i have a new laptop with a nvidia 4 gb 960m but ca only shows an intel card?

Am i not using the full strength of my card?

I got thru to ca support, email only works if you have an email program such as outlook on computer, wont work with gmail etc.
