I am going to see what buildings are already modelled in 3D warehouse for the surrounding area and perhaps I will just export my chief model and import it into sketchup and then into google earth,.i found YouTube video on how to do this using sketchup. So in the end not use a drone photo. Using a flat picture of area doesn’t really work because there are tall buildings around and the one I need to model is 15 stories high.

Yes it would.. this is for a proposed structure in downtown Calgary, Alberta Canada.. some tall towers around

Anyone have some suggestions on how to insert a ca model into a birds eye camera picture? It will have some high rise buildings in the picture.

I just uploaded ios13.2.. still seems like Apple is limiting motion access in safari for 360’s here is a post from an auto desk forum that shows how they could request this motion access.. Well ..hallelujah...i disconnected external monitor as suggested, rebooted laptop, started chief up...and now its using nvidia..yay!! I hooked back up external monitor and it is still using nvidia ... I made sure my laptop was set to the main monitor...not sure it this will matter... i have display set to multiple monitors.. Thanks for all your help here...it is an older laptop but i need to use this for a while yet.. so appreciate your help. Cheers.

Hi Mick, thanks for this, i loaded both high and ultimate onto laptop and rebooted...its still showing the intel video card... Do you adjust any other nvidia card options? I guess next step is to chat with CA...sometimes they are not as technical as forum guys like yourself...unless there is anything else to try.

I tried but there was only one option to chose from.. no MaX power option?

i went to intel and had them scan my system and it says its up to date... I changed power setting in nvidia as shown.. I only have one power setting to choose from not the ultimate power setting.. so it still shows intel driver...

i went to display adapters and made sure the intel driver was up to date and it was...does it make sense to reinstall chief? would i lose anything..

I have just updated the nvidia driver on my laptop and it shows in the nvidia control panel but Chief is still showing a driver from 2016, i have rebooted laptop, not sure what i need to do. Anyone have a suggestion?

Hey Michael, if one was to use the grid profiles to produce the most accurate 3d model, would you drop a bunch of panels inside the grid and then drop lights etc inside grid as well? You have a number of options you suggest, what way do you usually do this? I have a client does leasehold improvements and i want to show it both on plan and in 3d to reflect what is currently going on.

So I spoke to ca today and they say they know nothing about ios13 not working for 360’s and don’t really seem to care. Am I the only one that shares 360’s to iPhone users? Is there some other way to make the motion work on ios13? i sure would like if any others are seeing this issue or is it just me?
