    At JMT CAD Services we are a family owned business based in California. We have two Chief Architects Specialists that are proficient in using the program. The work we provide is normally on a contract work bases. We specialize in new construction and residential remodels. Together we have combined experience in the field of over 40 years. 15 Years of manual drafting, 12 years using Auto Cad, and 13 years drawing with Chief Architect. I use X10 and X11 to do complete working drawings for submittal or design work for layouts. I also have many years with new home construction in Arizona.     I would be interested in talking with you about the freelance drafting help. I have been using Chief Architect for the past 5 years. I started with a design build firm in Scottsdale AZ (Legacy Design). Now I am doing freelance for the past 4 years after moving to California. I use X8, X9 and X10 and do complete working drawings for submittal or design work for kitchen and bath layouts. I also have many years with new home construction in Arizona.

    I saw your request for drafting help my name is John Torres and I have over 25 years providing construction documents for architects, engineers and contractors using Auto-CAD and now 4 years with Chief Architect X8 and now X9. I have very good references from my current and previous employers. I have many years experience with residential production housing, custom and semi-custom houses. I can take preliminary design information from architects and produce complete working drawing for city submittal. .

      Hi John,

      I am a General Contractor in Santa Rosa CA.(San Francisco Bay Area). I have been using Chief Architect for a couple of years and use it for our easier design/build remodel projects. Things have changed here after the fires and we are now helping many folks to rebuild new homes. While some people are going to Architectural offices, some that are rebuilding what they had (original footprint), but with some interior changes are coming to us for this help. I can do the meetings with the owners and  do the initial drawings, but then I am looking for somebody that works in Chief to help get the plans building dept. submittal ready. Is this something you do? Are you interested? How do you charge?

    Hello, If you are still looking for someone I have over 20 years experience providing construction drawings in Arizona. Three years using Chief Architect, now using X8. I have provided drawings for the cities of Scottsdale, Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler and others using 2012 IRC and 2006 IRC. Many times used stucco rolled eaves.
