  1. The new truss tools are so much better than before. All you have to do is set the heel height now and auto build, what extra is that, a couple seconds to set the heel height. overall you save a lot more than that to do a truss roof. I don't mind it at all, just part of the setup.

Actually...if you look closely it's clipping the ceiling. So...something isn't working properly. I think I'm going to send in a report.

yes i agree with you, something isn't correct with the truss specs. We never used to have to set the heel height for them, now we do.

  3. If the bay creates a room, it will generate a room label, you can always change it to bay window.  without a floor no added square footage, with a floor added square footage. You can also not include it if you want. Make the wall between the bay and the living no room def and it becomes part of the other room but that could cause other problems.

  4. No, because as we design it we never know what will be required for the model to comply until it's complete. you can set up u-values for doors and windows and have them show in the schedules, but you might have to change all that later. Of course, here in California, we have the toughest energy codes in the nation.

Several websites are now reporting a Bug in Nvidia Driver 531.18 GR  ( Latest ) which can cause the CPU to be hogged by between 10-14% for some ...as usual YMMV.

The advice, if it effects you, is to go back to 528.24 or 528.48

    Mick.

    I haven't noticed anything yet.

Where's the Flush Beam & Dropped Beam option?

it's already there in beam framing under "with joists" or "under joists", I just wish it were in the edit toolbar instead having to open a DBX and find it.
