About Me
I have been using Chief Architect since Version 8.0. I taught Chief version 8 - 10 at Portland Community College for their Interior Design program. However, it was a basic overview class and the curriculum did not cover advanced foundation, roofing and framing. We covered building of the basic structure, adding floors, stairs, generating basic roofs and did not work with framing. I have been using Chief Interiors since it came out since I specialize in kitchen and bath remodels. I understand a lot about interiors, but rusty when it gets to a remodel on unique homes with unusual levels or very old homes where items such as stairs and other things are not to code. This leaves me with trying to understand the work arounds in Chief. I am grateful to all of the generous forum members that help so many people.
