HillsideDB
Are there groups of notes in Chief? Is there a way to make somewhat of a database of notes to grab quick for plans. In softplan its called speed notes. You hit a keyboard shortcut and your list pops up that you can organize by foundation notes, structural notes, elevation notes, etc. I was just curious if there is anything like that in Chief. Or can I build one? Does anyone else do it?
Chopsaw
Shure you can Just Shift Select them then Cad block and add to your User Library and organize in folders just as you have suggested for future use whenever you like. I like to open the block and give it a name that I will remember before I put it into the Library but it can also be done after.
HillsideDB
Oh nice. Cool I'll make sure to do that. Thanks for the tip!
DRAWZILLA
Or you can also just type or copy what you need in a macro, for simple text macro's. I use them a lot. The good thing about text macro's is if you change the macro's text, it changes everywhere you have it in the plan, automatically.
