brinkbart
Not sure why "this kind of file" (.calibz) isn't permitted to be uploaded to the SYMBOLS & CONTENT section of the forum... photos attach just fine (see attached). Tried with two different browsers, so it doesn't seem like it's on my end. Please help? Thanks!brinkbart EDIT: Also, the file is only 5MB, plenty small enough to attachd. Solution lbuttery Posted May 5, 2014 Solution Share Posted May 5, 2014 many files types need to be zipped before attaching Lew
brinkbart
Technically a .CALIBZ file is already zipped. Besides, I don't recall having to zip it before. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try it now!
brinkbart
Apparently, they do have to be zipped to be attached. Mods, if you can hear me, that's silly. Thanks again, Lew.
Rich_Winsor
Dang it Lew, I know how you feel about Reputation Points and I basically agree with you 100%. But you provide a lot of valuable input to this forum so I went ahead and gave you a point to get you off the schnide.
lbuttery
Rich: thanks yeah, its the negative points that I think will cause "trouble" no one can object to receiving positive points Lew
Rich_Winsor
You must have really pissed someone off Lew. Apparently you are not being credited with the Reputation Points that you are being given. It looks like you have been given +3 points for your "Best Response" on this topic alone, but your reputation count still shows zero. If I were you I would retain an attorney. lbuttery
Hmmm, maybe CA shut the program down ? Lew
BrianBeck
You should now be able to upload calibz files to the forums without zipping them. We missed adding this to the allowed attachment types when we switched over to the new forums.
