pauloutw
Dear all I've found one of my old creation back in 1998 and I really want to open it 'cause it's a model of my parents' old place, can anyone help me open the file? I don't need it to be in 3D, just a JPG or floor plan will do. Thanks everyone! Paul 3dhome.zip

BenPalmer
Yep, this is an old file. I have Chief 9.5 installed on my computer, and it won't open it. Gives me the message below. You will need to find someone that has an older version saved on there computer. Maybe tech support can open??? Good luck.

They were clear never again, so I have not upgraded my old desktop.... If you want to send me file, I will try and open it. No guaranties as my first version was back in 1995. DavidJPotter
I was able to open in Version 7 and then 9.5, X1 and then X7, the plan file is attached. You did not say what version you are using now so I guessed. Being created in 1998 would make it a Chief Architect Version 5 file or a similar version of 3D Home Architect. I keep version 7 mainly for such older file version upgrades. I haven't needed anything older so far. DJP Old Home.plan
