Stillpoint
Hi: I am new to Chief Architect I have been using the default line weight, When I send to an online print service they are finding the numbers and some lines are fuzzy or blurred, I am printing to a PDF, I check the size as either 18"x24" or 24"x36" I make sure that what ever I save as a PDF sizes match. Also are there recommended line weight and text/number sizes that produce crisp visual results ?Thank you
DRAWZILLA
Are all your lines black, or are they in color, I always print in grayscale. Could be your printers fault also. Color in grayscale will print different shades of gray for the colors, so it may look fuzzy or maybe the printer is just running out of ink. If you are enlarging your PDF then you might get pixilation .
Stillpoint
Thank you for responding Drawzilla: The drawings were in color but sent to blueprint service, so I'll try changing that to black and greyscale as well. the pdf's are the same sizes both 18"x24" and 24"x36" Carl
Joe_Carrick
You might also check the resolution that's being printed for your PDF.
Kbird1
I thought PDF's didn't pixelate if zoomed ? however if they were "printed" at 72dpi (the Webpage standard) rather than 600DPI , I could see them not looking good if zoomed in on...
