micromysore Posted August 25 Share Posted August 25 We have a Chief Architect (.plan) files for a permitted project currently underway in construction in full swing However, we're currently making some updates (moving doors, moving non-load bearing walls, making color choices, removing / adding cabinets etc) and are looking for help visualizing the changes. We have built everything from an addition for a large screen TV, to multi million dollar renovation, to custom homes others could not complete for the clients. I am semi retired, I try to do around 20hrs a week. I have experience in Plumbing, HVAC, structural, electrical, and take all of then into account while designing, so our designs can actually be built without major changes. I work in Chief Architect and can pick up from your existing .plan file and help you continue making design changes while construction is underway. My process is pretty simple: you send the current Chief file along with your marked-up changes, photos, sketches, or notes. I update the model, send back views/renderings so you can review the changes, and then revise as needed. For items like doors, non-load-bearing walls, cabinetry, finishes, and colors, this usually works well on an hourly basis because the scope can change as decisions are made.
