MN_JohnH
I have been drawing roof for a long time and never had this problem. The lower end of the roof eve here wants to box on the soffit. The upper end seems to work OK but the lower end seems to be ignoring the subfascia and fascia settings and also I have it set for square fascia and it is drawing the trusses with plumb fascia. It started in a larger plan and I copied the walls over to this plan and drew a new roof and it does the same thing. Truss problem.plan
JonathanK
I guess I wouldn't say this is the "fix"...probably more of the work-around. I just edited a truss, deleted all the old ones, and offset the correct ones so they're all right. I don't know why it's doing what it's doing for you. Kind of weird. 1214266502_Trussproblem.plan
robdyck
The 'why' is tough to nail down, although the fix is simple as Jonathan mentioned. I'd suggest sending it to Tech Support.
MN_JohnH
Thanks guys, I tried editing first, because that is the obvious workaround but I was getting messages saying it can't do it or weird pointed truss parts up in the air. Even now I was getting that but I finally figured out after playing with it for a while which sequence of breaks and pulls allow me to do it. Anyway, I guess that will work. Thanks,
