deaconjj Posted Thursday at 04:06 PM Share Posted Thursday at 04:06 PM back in x15, if did "Chief Architect Save as PDF", it would print the file right there in the same folder as the chief file, where it belonged. Same as x16. NOW in x17, the pdf file lands in whatever the last folder i sent a PDF file to --- totally different project folders. This is such a time suck and workflow killer. Not desirable at least for my workflow. I print to desktop where I then refile where I want it. I think printing to last selected folder has always been the behavior unless I'm mistaken. I've been on Chief since X14. I did look around in print settings / preferences for a setting that might override this, but did not find anything. I have experienced the same. As I recall I had to select folder even in X16. Would be nice if I could set up folders and chief for that to automagically happen.
