Changing doors to drawers

Kitchen 2.planWhen going through the kitchen boot camp demonstration, when it came time to change the cabinet doors to drawers, the drawers looked odd, like you could see through.  Below is a picture showing a base cabinet unmodified (right) and the same cabinet modified for drawers (left).  You can see the drawers don't cover everything.  I also noticed that as soon as I switched the door to a drawer, even before splitting, that when you clicked on the drawer, it looked like you could see through it (see below).  Though I followed the demo step by step when I got to this point, the look was not as expected.  Any thoughts?  The last snip-it is before changing the door to a drawer.  You can see through it like you can after changing to drawers.

Thank you, however, I think this is beyond where I am at being a beginner, literally.  I will play around with it some more.  Thank you for help!!

If you search for "Benton" in the Library, it will come up under "Manufacturer Catalogs", "Crystal Cabinet Works", "Encore", "Door Styles", "Benton". Then right click on the "Benton Drawer" and select "Copy To User Library". It will then move to your user library where you can right click it and select "Open Object". Once in the fixture specification dialog box select "Advanced Sizing". In this panel, under "Stretch Planes" under the height it is set to 11". Change this to 3" and select okay. Then hover over the cabinet in either an elevation view or perspective view and paint the drawer front onto the cabinet.

I have no idea why that drawer panel would have the stretch plane setup that way.  You could make a copy of it and fix it like Molly is suggesting.  It also looks like it is just a plain old slab so instead of using the "benton drawer" symbol in your cabinet defaults, you could just switch it to the built in "slab drawers".
