BTKitchens
Kitchen 2.planWhen going through the kitchen boot camp demonstration, when it came time to change the cabinet doors to drawers, the drawers looked odd, like you could see through. Below is a picture showing a base cabinet unmodified (right) and the same cabinet modified for drawers (left). You can see the drawers don't cover everything. I also noticed that as soon as I switched the door to a drawer, even before splitting, that when you clicked on the drawer, it looked like you could see through it (see below). Though I followed the demo step by step when I got to this point, the look was not as expected. Any thoughts? The last snip-it is before changing the door to a drawer. You can see through it like you can after changing to drawers. Kitchen 2.plan Edited 13 hours ago by BTKitchens added plan
DBCooper
The only thing I can think of that might cause a problem like that is maybe a messed up symbol being used for the drawer front. If you post your plan, someone could probably look at it and figure it out more quickly.
Doug_N
The other possibility is the material for the drawers is set to transparent. It is difficult to make a guess without your plan being posted, as DB said,

MollyNDG
@DBCooper Is correct, the Benton drawer front has a height stretch plane set above the 3D geometry, which is causing the empty space above your drawer fronts. If you copy the drawer front to your user library and change this to 3" you'll be all set.
BTKitchens
Thank you, however, I think this is beyond where I am at being a beginner, literally. I will play around with it some more. Thank you for help!!
