ChiefChris1
Other than the rare occurrence of someone asking for a drawing to be done in an older version of Chief.... IS THERE ANY reason why I should keep past version installed on my computer?
chief58
No but it is always nice to keep one or two previous versions just in case, I have X5,6.and 7 for know
ChiefChris1
I do suppose I could re-install an older version if I would need to. But for now, I think I'll just remove them.
DRAWZILLA
I have 5,6,7, loaded ,but chief has gotten real good at bringing plans forward , so I do when I can, b/c I like all the new goodies and refuse to go back. Very rarely use 5,6, only for changes to those plans.
chief58
I agree with Perry on using the latest bells and whistles, I usually copy and paste the file in newer versions this way I can always go back invade things don't workout but chief has been stable and haven't had to go back on anything except small revisions that I didn't want to bring forward
DRAWZILLA
Yep, if the plan is in the prelim stage, then it always comes forward. If it's in the final stages then I look at it seriously, and bring it forward.
