JBradleyConst
When printing using the CA's built in "save as PDF" printer, afterwards it automatically opens up the resulting PDF file with my system's default PDF reader (adobe acrobat). Is there a way to make it not do that? I don't see any options that appear to effect this. I could use Adobe Acrobat's PDF printer from the printer list instead since it doesn't open the file afterwards, but I prefer using CA's PDF printer as I've found the quality/compression to be better.. When printing a lot of things in a row it becomes quite a nuisance to have to close the PDF's after each print. Thanks
Joe_Carrick
I think that's a result of the "File Associations" in the OS, not in Chief.
JBradleyConst
That's not really what the issue is, what PDF's open with on my system is fine. What I'm looking to stop is CA automatically opening the printed PDF. When I use Adobe's PDF printer instead, I just get a little pop up notice saying "PDF successfully created" or something like that without the PDF opening. I'd like to know if there's a way for CA's built in PDF printer to do the same.

Other programs offer this, e.g. Autocad: Why don't you make the feature suggestion to Chief under "suggestions." Maybe they'll add it for X18.
