33DegreesNorth
Does anyone have any idea how I might close up or complete that small section of wall so it doesn't show the drywall ceiling gap? Thank you!
PitMan71
There might be a better way, BUT I just had a go at it and if you change the wall to a Furred Wall on the Structure Panel it will go away. The downside is so will you base moulding which can be easily added back with a moulding poly line. If there is another way to fix this I don't know of one. Might be worth elevating this to support and let them have a look and see how they would solve.

This has no value to the actual floor plan set, so this layer is turned off on the con docs. Its is more for a visual, and awesome camera views. I have spent time trying to figure this out, and if it's not a obvious fix, and it doesn't affect the plan.. I move on.
33DegreesNorth
Appreciate the input and the simple workarounds. I'm not that sophisticated with CA, so I figured I would start here. I'll see what support says about a best practice for this and report back if it's anything notable. Thanks again! Solution Chrisb222 Posted Saturday at 03:41 PM Solution Share Posted Saturday at 03:41 PM 1 hour ago, 33DegreesNorth said: Does anyone have any idea how I might close up or complete that small section of wall so it doesn't show the drywall ceiling gap? I'd just select the wall, grab the top resize handle, and pull the top down and hit TAB to bring up the move distance dialog, enter .01" and presto:

Any idea how to only paint the edge of that drywall? I'm a newbie, just trying to clean up minor items and learn the things I couldn't figure out! You could make the Ceiling Finish layer thinner, like .2" which interestingly will also take care of the top of wall issue: Be aware some of these solutions will alter your model and possibly cause issues / mistakes in things like framing and material list, etc.
