decorators3
Hi I'm building this house from the clients PDF plans for rendering ..I built the auto roof with gables where indicated on the plan Is my roof plan close to the roof schematic sent to me by the client : should I build the roof planes and then join or try to adjust based on auto roof rebuild Which is the best way to get the roof corrected to meet the PDF schematic.. Thanks Levina
Rookie65
It would be helpful if the roof PDF was facing the same direction as the drawing. Though in looking at it, the ridge for the main roof is not straight like the PDF shows. That could be from a number of factors, yet without having the plan to look at, it's hard to pinpoint. JiAngelo Posted yesterday at 01:46 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:46 AM Start with lowering your front to back roof planes (Green lines) to be less than your left/right plane slopes (red dots) It would be easier if you imported the PDF, rotate it 180 degrees and place it under your drawing, scaling it to match your real world dimensions. Below I placed the rotated PDF over your 3D roof view. To make it easier to see i painted the lines red. The blue roof pitch is different from the other two, lower. I'd draw that manually after you get everything else to line up.

Thanks for this I will attempt your suggestions Cheers Levina
