capitaldesigns
I'm working on a three-story house that has two exterior stairs. The stairs only show up on the floor I placed them on. How do I get them to show up on both floors? When I place the stairs on interior stairs and create a stairwell the stairs show up on both floors. Thanks, Mike

Thanks, Mike if you do not want to enclose it in a room with room dividers then you could instead make a custom layer set with stairs only and reference that layer set in your floor above
mtldesigns
@capitaldesigns Hey Mike, Doing something like this myself as we speak. What you do, as Renee mentions, is create a room with the room divider tool. I always make this "wall" a layer that doesn't print in this case. Once you have the room sized, go to the room dbx and pick the "open below" option. You'll then see your stairs. Don't forget to turn that room label off and uncheck if there is a roof or ceiling above it.
