How to setup plan...house with trusses....porches with rafters...keep auto roof on

Most of the house constructed in my area are built with trusses for the house and rafters for the porch. A 12" energy heel is used on the trusses.

 

When I create my plans it gives a 12" heel for the porches also which make my elevations not quite right.

 

Is there a way to keep auto roof on and use trusses for the house and rafters for the porches?

I don't think so, default setting is global. You will have to manually edit the porch roof.

Yes and no. First, remove the 12" heel if you don't want it. Second, just start designing with auto roofs on and let it put trusses on the porch. When the design ready, change the porch roof to standard framing and mark it as edited so that it won't change if you make a revision.
