Ed_Orum Posted February 10 Share Posted February 10 Apparently Chief thinks siding should not cover the sill plate, so in all of the elevation views, the siding starts above the sill plate. KilianDrafting Posted February 10 Share Posted February 10 Make sure your exterior wall type Main Layer has framing CHECKED under the material properties tab. If it is unchecked the siding will not cover the sill plate. You can also specify the extension of the siding layer in this same wall definition dialogue. Ed_Orum Posted February 11 Author Share Posted February 11 Thanks. It was not checked, so I checked it. Still no change, the siding does not cover the sill plate. Unless I am seeing it wrong, but even though the sill plate is the same exterior color as the siding, I still see the 1-1/2" sill plate, then the full height siding in all elevation views.
