Rendering Lighting Glare

This has never happened before but it is now across all of my Chief files. I didn't change anything on the rendering setting but it suddenly started. I am getting this huge "spotlight" or glare in the renderings. It rotates with the camera. I opened the same camera view in X16, no glare...

I haven't been able to reproduce your problem on my system but I did note a couple of things...

- try bringing your light sources down from the ceiling (I would go with 60"  to start)

- also, everything is way too bright & bring down the ambient light (to much makes the scene look flat)

 

Those are the first things I would do but I'm on a PC and not a Mac so I don't know if that makes a difference. You should just experiment with your camera and rendering settings and also the intensity of your light sources.

Hello @jjohnny, based off of your screenshot, it looks like this may be one of the issues we were seeing in earlier version of X16 Premier. I would ensure that you are on the latest version of X16 (26.3.0.10). You can check this in the software by going to Help> Download Program Updates.

If you are running 26.3.0.10 and you still see this effect in your plan, or would like help updating to 26.3.0.10, I would recommend contacting Technical Support through the Technical Support Center.
