What's the fix for the casing overrun at top of two trap windows mulled

I like to write these posts with as much description as I can cram in the space.  I could have said "window problem" but no, I'm stuck with my behavior.  So here, look at this pic and you'll see what I mean.  I have a workaround, but really, do I have to?

I don't think there's a legit fix for this, only workarounds. I haven't run into this in a while, I find myself designing away from mulled shaped windows, and mulled windows in general as much as I can because I know how much Chief's mulled window function is going to annoy the hell out of me.

 

Off the top of my head there's a few things that may work, try using a lintel for your top casings, or turn off exterior casings and use a molding line or shaped material region instead. If you find a fix or a better workaround, please do share.

I concur with Brett. I just get my tools out and put the casing on myself. I just had to something similar because of the bottom of a raked window can't be a zero height...so Chief cases the window with a small vertical piece. I needed a proper miter...

Also on the inside. I believe the way around this is to make each unit with their arches and then mull them, but it would be nice to just mull and add the arch and it would work. 

 

Here is the same thing Gene is showing... I typically tell my client it is just the software and move on. I do not have time to fix this.

Same here. Still annoying to see all the time while working on the project, but not very high on the list of fixes/improvements I'd like to see for the software.
