WoodGrain
Can anyone tell me how to delete polyline nodes? I have a multi room floor that I drew to calculate the total area. Now I need to break it into 3 separate areas to calculate those areas separately for a different purpose... but I don't know how to delete the "nodes". Is there an easy way to do this? Solution WoodGrain Posted Saturday at 02:05 PM Author Solution Share Posted Saturday at 02:05 PM I found this method that works. fyi this isn't my original content, found it elsewhere but it's relevant. It would be much nicer to just be able to delete nodes easily and individually. CorelDraw has a nice method for deleting nodes from vector objects - might be something that Chief could consider adding here.
Joe_Carrick
Assuming you are trying to eliminate nodes in the middle of a line segment (colinear) then you just select the tool on the edit menu to Simplify Polyline. OTOH, for corners you can simply drag them to an adjacent corner which will delete a line segment.
GeneDavis
Nice workaround, @WoodGrain. I gave your post with the vid a like, and you might want to mark it as the SOLUTION.
