4hotshoez
The design of the house started before the site was confirmed and now the building needs to be rotated 90 degrees, which also helps on the drawing sheet. How is this done in Chief and keep everything together?
kMoquin
It can be done with Edit Area - (All Floors) in the edit menu
BryceEngstrom
Although you will likely have to reorient any text and/or arrows you have in the plan manually.
4hotshoez
I did the Edit Area (all floors) with all layers on and showing yet in several "custom" objects did not rotate with the plan, like moldings, and material regions of which I have plenty. So it does not really work.
tommy1
I always rotate the site plan. I never rotate the house or building unless there is no other choice.

BryceEngstrom
Yeah, the further into it you are, the harder it is. You can rotate the plan in the layout instead of in the plan as well, but that also doesn't help the text rotating. Best to not do it, and then only in the early stages if there is no other choice. Jay_on_Cape
Yes, don't rotate it. If nothing else (trust me, there used to be something else(s)), it confuses me when I flip a plan never mind rotate it. You get used to working on a plan with everything in a known and familiar spot.
