DHerb2014
I've been trying to find out (unsuccessfully) how to change font type and size for electrical symbols, particularly the AFCI outlet. By default, AFCI has a very small font height and is City Blueprint. I'd like to change it to a 3" high, Arial Narrow font for example. Please see attached for example. DBCooper
Try this: - Select the outlet - Use the "edit cad block" tool - Select the text and then open the dialog - Go the "text style" page and make your changes - Click Ok - Close the cad block window and save your changes - Update all the instances of the block Now if you want to use this for all of your plans, save your modified outlet to your user library. DHerb2014
Thanks DBC. Is there a way to make this a default setting or do we have to manually select it each time we use it? Wish CA would open these settings up for us. AFCI has too small of a font size and uses City Blueprint. A double negative.
Joe_Carrick
Copy the Library Object to your user Library. Make the edits there Use that for AFCI Outlets. For GFCI Outlets you can do the same and then just change the default to use the object in your library. Unfortunately Chief doesnt have a default for AFCI.
