rgfeher
This was brought up in a recent post Set the rail to panel and type to cable
Solution AndyGump Posted March 18, 2014 Solution Share Posted March 18, 2014 In the wall DBX, set the 'Rail Style' to "Panels" then in the 'Newels/Balusters' specification under "Panels" click on the library button and navigate to the "Architectural/Fences/Cable and click the cable panel of your choice, (only two there). You should then have the cable fence you want. Andy.

VinnieVicon
Well I did it, it was that easy. I don't know why I couldn't figure that out on my own, I'm a little embarrassed to tell you the trust. Thanks Again
rgfeher
Glad you have it solved No reason whatsoever to feel that way - what the forum is for Thanks Andy - you were much more concise in the answer than me
jtcapa1
There is also a neat trick to get the railing to the outside of the deck so it looks like its mounted correctly using one invisible railing and another visible one just outside that.
