Creating an independent hip roof for separate mech building

I tried auto rebuilding the roof, it wasn't working and was throwing off the roof plan in the main building, I need to manually create a hip roof for a separate mech building if possible.

I got this far...now the roof planes are missing, is this a layer issue?

It should be easy to use auto roofs to do both buildings at once.

Auto roofs will build the roof over both buildings.

Post the plan.

The plane highlights but is invisible otherwise.

I got it working, in camera view the roof materials panel showed “open.”

 

I changed it to standard seam and the planes showed.

With problems like this, the best way to get meaningful help is to post the plan file.

How do you attach a plan file that’s too large? I think mine was 46 mb.

Try Backup Entire Plan with the Plan Files only and the Zip Archive options.
