I'd like to turn off the foundation under the garage and porch; any idea how to do that while leaving the auto rebuild foundation tool on? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SNestor Posted March 28 Share Posted March 28 Once your foundation is built and "auto rebuild" is still turned "on"...if you want to change a specific "room" on the foundation level you will have to turn auto rebuild off. It's not really a big deal...you can always rebuild your foundation again (or manually move walls into position)...and then modify the rooms as needed..again. This is why it's a good practice to not build the foundation until you have the main level floor plan as you want it. Below is a screen clip of a test plan I just did in X15...you will see the porch is basement depth. This is because you can only preset the basement depth...and the depth of the garage walls.
