I cant figure out how to make these calout labels in the schedule bigger so I can read them.
When I did make them bigger it change the callout size for them on the section view and I dont want that.

Any help would be appreciated

Just use the "Schedule Number" instead of the Callout.

That's of course in the first column.

OTOH, you could try making that column wider.  That might make the Callout bigger.

When I make the column size bigger this is what happens

This is from another plan that I did and so I know it can be done.

Joe, I think it has something to do with the way I have the section layers setup becasue the callout size in the section should match the callout size in the schedule. That is the way it is in the other plan I have.

Joe,

I had a similar problem last year.  The layer / text style was creating the problem.

Perhaps this is the solution:

Thank You Jim,

I was wondering. Is there a way to access your notes list? When I save them in the libuary I can only see them when I put the note in the plan. I may have to see if there is an updated video on how to use notes.

In my case I had my text notes as a separate CAD detail.  (I think this is best practice per forum advice).  That's what DB Cooper was referring to.

The settings of this CAD detail were affecting the text note text sizing.

Hope that helps.

Yes, it better explains it. I tried to do it as a cad detail in the past but it had its disadvantages also.

I only like to put notes and details in the plan that have to do with the specific project so boiler plates don’t work well for me. This is why I utilize the library a lot.

The NOTE schedules are a nice idea but seem to have a few glitches that are frustrating.

Thank you for the help, Jim, I really appreciate it.

You're welcome.  A lot of Chief things are still a bit of a mystery to me, but I'm enjoying the program.  It's pretty nuanced.
