CJordanDesign
I'm working on placing a patio, pool, and pool house onto a sloped terrain. Is there an easy way to get these objects to follow the terrain? Right now they are "floating" above it where the terrain slopes. Thanks for any advice!
DavidJPotter
Symbols are going to to be programmed to float as a unified object whereas terrain features "follow" the terrain. You want to use the objects that support your intentions and you work with what IS there and how they are intended to be used, DJP

Some objects in Chief, primarily symbols from the Library can have there "reference Height" ...set to terrain though it is sometimes better to Reference Absolute (0") so they don't move with the Terrain if that is not intended eg Columns, or Furniture you want to sit on a slab, the Buildings will need to be Set using the Absolute Height Setting in the Structure Tab of the "Room" ( Absolute Height is always 0" = top of slab or top of Subfloor plywood ) M.
