Ceiling Extends into Adjacent Room

Any ideas if there's a way to prevent automatic ceilings from butting into an adjacent room where the ceiling heights differ? I'm sure I've encountered and fixed this issue in the past. As I age, my memory plays silly tricks. Not happy about that.

The wall above is not aligned with the wall next to the stairs, causing the lower ceiling to poke into the room:

 

 

 

 

Go to level 2 and click the wall alignment button:

Exactly that.

It's not causing this at all but that wall also isn't following it's default heights (I'm assuming others probably aren't either)

which may lead to some strange behavior.

I'd recommend resetting all walls to default top/bottoms through Edit, Reset to Defaults
